In appreciation of his tolerance, and "for the guidance which he has given to the men of Clark College" the Lampodas Club of Beta Psi Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity presented Dean of Men Charlton Hamilton with an appropriately inscribed plaque. The presentation was made at the club's initial chapel program by Marshall Smith.
Dean Hamilton came to Clark in 1946 and serves also as assistant Coach. He is a graduate of Talladega College and New York University.
Speaking for the Lampodas Club was Dr Raymond Carter, Atlanta Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat specialist who discussed the qualities of a good fraternity man. The speaker also related some of his experiences in connection with boy scout work in order to point up the desirability of good character in fraternal associations.
Officers of the Lampodas Club of Beta Psi Chapter are Thirkield Cravens, president; Simon McThomas, secretary; Hercert Wellon, treasurer; Marshall Smith, keeper of scrapbook; Patrick Bell, chaplain; and Simon Edwards, business manager.
