Willie's Back in
School Again

"Willie! Ohhh Willie!!! It's time to get up and go to school."

"Aw, heck, Mom. I don't wanna go to school. I know more'n that ol' teacher now!"

Yep, school days are here again and they say, Kids, the first hundred years are the hardest! An embryo first grader said that if he could start in the eighth grade it would be all right, but he wasn't going to sit in those "baby seats."

There are those, of course, who are glad school has started and they aren't all mothers either! Some children actually like school and look forward to the opening of school . . . . at least there has been a rumor of such a case.

Regardless of likes or dislikes, school opened Tuesday with an enrollment of 676 students and the first vacation isn't until Thanksgiving.
