From the VOTES of the House of Commons:
Veneris 22 Die Januarii. 1762. P. M.
GEORGE R.
HIS Majesty being Sensible of the Zeal and Vigour with which His faithful Subjects in North-America have exerted themselves, in Defence of His Majesty's just Rights and Possessions, recommends it to this House to take the same into Consideration, and to enable His Majesty to give them a proper Compensation for the Expences incurred by the respective Provinces, in the Levying, Cloathing and Pay of the same, according as the active Vigour and strenuous Efforts of the respective Provinces shall justly appear to merit.

ORDERED, Nemine Contradicente. That His Majesty's most gracious Message be referred to the Consideration of the Committee of the whole House, to whom it is referred to consider of the Supply granted to His Majesty.
Martis 26 Die January. 1762.
RESOLVED, That it is the Opinion of this Committee, that a Sum, not exceeding One Hundred Thirty-three Thousand Three Hundred Thirty three Pounds. Six Shillings and Eight Pence, be granted to His Majesty upon Account, to enable His Majesty to give a proper Compensation to the respective Provinces in North America. for the Expence incurred by them in the Levying. Clothing and Pay of the Troops raised by the same, according as the active Vigour and strenuous Efforts of the respective Provinces shall be thought by His Majesty to merit.
