"Where can I find Bill Turner?" the stranger queried.
"I'm Bill Turner," was the reply. "I am your brother, John," said the other.
Then the Turner brothers who had not seen each other for thirty years shook hands in brotherly fashion.
J. C. Turner of San Jose, Calif., arrived in Lancaster last Thursday for a brief visit with his half-brothers, William Turner and Frank Turner. From here he goes to points in Iowa and Illinois to visit before returning west. Mr. Turner was born at Linden and later lived for eight years in Lancaster. He left here 48 years ago and his only trip back was thirty years ago. He is the inventor and manufacturer of the Gem file sharpening machine and his work takes him all over the west, south and northwest, dealing principally with sawmills and large machine shops. Since the cessation of work in the lumber industry Mr. Turner has found time to visit a few relatives he had not seen for years and needless to say they are all overjoyed to see him.
