PORTSMOUTH.

Last Saturday about 4 o'Clock, P. M. a most sorrowful Accident happened in this River, near Dover Point: Four Persons, viz. - Walton, and his Wife, with her Brother Hunking Moses, and said Walton's Sister, young Persons, returning from Berwick to this Town in a small Boat, to expedite their Way, had set up a Coverlid for a Sail; which being too heavy for the Boat, in a Flaw of Wind turned it over; and as they were beyond the Reach of Help, and in a strong Tide, they were all drowned. None of the Bodies are yet found.
