TWO STORM CENTERS TO ONE MAIN STORM
New York, Feb. 22.—The terrible western and southwestern blizzard which gave Kansas, Missouri, Texas and other western states one of the worst storms of recent years, is coming out of the country after breaking the record for varieties of weather and covering Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio with the heaviest snows for the season. In the succession of storms that have followed, practically every section of the country from Texas south to Georgia and northward to Lake Erie has been visited with snow, sleet or rain and while only eight lives have been lost, great damage has been done to property. There are two centers to the one main storm. One is passing into Canada across Lake Erie, and the other is approaching the coast along the country south of Cape Hatteras.
