Russian Forces Sweep Ukraine

MOSCOW, Feb. 19. (UP)—The official army communique said Saturday that "nothing can stop us" as Soviet troops from the blizzard-swept Ukraine to the approaches of Pskov slashed forward in multiple drives designed to drive the Germans out of Russia.

The most sensational Russian gains were scored along the lower end of the northern front in an extension of the offensive which had cast the Nazis westward from Leningrad into Estonia.

The loss of Staraya Russa, chief German bastion of Pskov, presaged battles in which the fate of the Baltic states is expected to be decided.
