CHATTANOOGA. Tenn--SNS
As one drifts through life there are sights that captivate the eyes, thoughts that crystalize the mind and things we hear thrill the very soul, One does not have to be a student of philosophy and historian nor a logician to realize these things. As a sailor in the U. S. Navy I would almost shout to hear the speaker.
Miss L. M. Reed, of Marietta, sang a touching solo, while Little Marian Walton rendered a musical number.
A round table discussion was held on the subject: "What Are We To Do With Our Present-Day students?" Those participating in the discussion were: Revs. R. H. Milner, C.R.Sheridan, W. F. Paschal, Deacon T. Thomas and Mrs. Sims.
Mrs. A. Bell sang a solo to the delight of her hearers. The election of officers was held with Rev. Bell presiding. Most of the officers were re-elected. Rev. Gates retained his post and Rev. A. L. Humphrey was given the vice presidential post.
Rev. G. W. Jordan preached the educational sermon. while Miss Gertrude Williams delivered an oration. The educational appeal was made by Revs. Bell and Milner.
The final session will be held today, ending the 64th session into the pages of history.
