Full Text

THE ORGAN.

After great perplexity and tribulation in relation to it, it has been settled by the wire-workers of the party at Washington, that Blair of the Globe must be got rid of, being too much under the influence of Benton who is not in favour at Court. Father Ritchie it seems has been hit on, and will kindly condescend to do the printing of Congress for the next four years.

Says the Baltimore Patriot:

"Messrs. Ritchie and Heiss have finally been decided upon to conduct 'The Organ.' They will know in a week whether or not, and upon what terms, (in the neighborhood, say of from $40,000 to $60,000,) they can have 'The Globe.' At all events, they are to publish and edit 'The Organ.'"
