What Gen. Fremont Thinks of the Bull Run Panic.

On the road from Columbus to this city yesterday afternoon, Gen. Fremont expressed himself very freely to a prominent citizen of Cincinnati about the war, and especially about the late repulse of the Federal army. The General gave it as his opinion that the defeat of Sunday last would have a good effect upon Union troops, and make them rally with redoubled zeal around the flag. He thought our loss, considering the circumstances, was very small—he believed the war would be brought to a speedy termination, and said he "did not see how it could have any other result than the speedy rally of the Union."
