At least six bands and fifteen or more fire companies will be in Oakland tomorrow to participate in the July 4 parade and celebration.
Robert Stanton, parade marshal, said he had favorable replies from bands at Kingwood, Keyser, Bruceton-Brandonville, Westover and Friendsville. These will be augmented by the Oakland Band and the Oakland High school band.
Fire companies were listed from the tri-state area.
The parade is scheduled for 1 o'clock p. m., daylight time.
The AMP shows have been in Oakland since Monday under fire department sponsorship, and will remain here until Saturday night.
