Special Air Courses Authorized At State

RALEIGH, May 28.--(P)-N. C. State college was authorized today to install special courses during summer school for aviation ground school instructors as part of the national defense program for stepping up output of airplanes and pilots.

Dean Blake R. Van Leer of the State college engineering school and Prof. Leslie R. Parkinson, head of the division of pilots and mechanics training, were in Washington for a conference with the civil aeronautics authority.

Van Leer reported that CAA flight training would proceed through the summer.
