ATLANTA, Ga.-(SNS)--A dozen
or more intersec-
tional football frays have captured the imagination and fan-
cy of pigskin fans over the South even though the red-hot,
knock-down, drag-out pennant fight between the Brooklyn
Dodgers and the St. Louis Cardinals is still the number one
conversation piece. The know-it-alls of sepia grid circles are
getting in their spiel about top clashes between the bigtimers
of Southern leather-lugging circles, who will put on dis-
play fancy, ground-gobbling passers, inspired broken-field
runners, incomparable punters and dashing signal callers,
for the entertainment of record crowds in a dozen or more
cities here in the Deep South.
