LOCAL GIRL IN OREGON AUTO ACCIDENT
Jeanne Reed, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reed of Seward, was slightly injured in an automobile accident in Oregon on Feb. 10.
The young girl lives with her aunt in Drain, Oregon, where she attends school. Driving in heavy smog or smoke, the car in which she was a passenger stopped suddenly for a stalled car ahead and was struck from the rear by the driver following them.
Miss Reed, the only one injured in the accident, was thrown into the windshield, suffering cuts and bruises, which her mother reports as "slight."
