A letter from the Hague, dated March 14, says:

"The 20th of this month is dreaded at Utrecht. The burghers seem determined to force the Magistrate to keep the word he has given to revoke the regulation of 1674, and the Magistrate, on his side, is taking measures to refuse to yield to them. A civil war is ready to break in that unhappy city. Some hundreds of the Vry Corps from several places are gone there to support the burghers; it is feared there will be some bloodshed. The 20th is the day fixed for this great revolution."
