Nome's Christmas Tree Brought From Fairbanks By Wien Airlines Plane

The big Christmas tree, reported to measure over 20 feet, is here and will be ready for the Community Christmas Tree celebration tonight.

Olaf Halverson, assisted by the high school students is busy decorating the big spruce, which was brought over from Fairbanks for the event gratis by Wien Airlines.

The program, which starts at 8 o'clock will be followed by the arrival of Santa Claus who has a Christmas stocking for all the believers in the cheery old man and a listening ear for all good children.

The management of the theater have announced that the final showing of the 3-D picture will be delayed this evening until 10:00 o'clock so that all those who wish to see it following the community entertainment, may have the opportunity to do so.
