NEW YORK. June 13.--Meetings of many councils of the Royal Arcanum to take action on a new rate schedule of life insurance are scheduled to take place here and throughout the country. Most of the dissatisfaction with the schedule is by the contingent of members who are approaching the Osler age limit and those who are already subjects for the Baltimore doctor's reported remedy, having passed the ripe age of sixty years. On these the burden of the new rates will fall most heavily, as their rates have been raised, while those of men between twenty-five and forty-five years have been reduced materially. It is not the men who have passed sixty years, however, who are the only objectors to the new charges for continued insurance. The younger men realize that the same conditions will meet them in future.
