Full Text

Please to insert the following in your gazette: A daughter of mine about 8 years of age was so very deaf for some time, more than a twelvemonth past, occasioned as it seemed to me by sickness, that it was with the greatest difficulty she could be made to hear what was said to her so as to understand it, was cured by being electrified by Dr. Ferrigan.--The operation was performed several times a day for about 8 days. As it has been so surprising a cure, I think myself bound in regard to all such as have the Misfortune to be afflicted with the same disorder, to take this public method to acquaint them with it.

I am, Sir, your humble Servant. Wm. Harrison.
