The National Union of Dodecanesians of Florida received the following letter today from the British embassy at Washington:
"I am directed by His Majesty's charge d'affaires to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 2nd-instant, and to inform you that the resolutions enclosed therein are being forwarded to the foreign office for transmission to Mr. Lloyd George."
The Dodecanesians also received a cable from Premier Venizelos from Paris.in reply to their congratulations on the occurrence of his name day, which read as follows:
"National Union of Dodecanesians of Florida, Tarpon Springs, Fla. Accept my hearty thanks and best wishes. Signed, Venizelos."
It can plainly be seen that the work of the Dodecanesians is beginning to bear fruit and history will record their efforts in the noble cause of procuring freedom and restoration to Greece of the islands and territory which should rightfully be hers.
Here's to their success--a noble cause was never won by those who were afraid to work for it.
