Claudia Jones, daughter of Capt. and Mrs. Lonnie Jones, was honored on her fifth birthday Monday afternoon, May 15, with a party at her home in Kill Devil Hills.
The refreshment table was a child's delight. Miniature angels, bearing five white candles, lighted the birthday cake, which was surrounded by pink and white cupcakes, cups of ice cream shaded by parasols for the girls and flags for the boys, nuts, toy candies, and Walt Disney napkins.
Upon departure, balloons were cut from the ceiling and given to the guests, Ben, Jr. and John Ivey, Tony Tillett, John and Wayne Beasley, Sherry Moore, Michael, Gregory and Timothy Stick of the Kitty Hawk area and John Robertson Etheridge, Cheryl and Steve Daniels, Warren and Holly Meekins of Manteo.
