Brown's Hitters Comeback
Knocking Four Hurlers Out

Cape Girardeau, Mo., March 29.—(P)—Hitters made a comeback
in the St. Louis Browns' training
camp today, slapping four pitchers
around with a total of 21 hits in
an intra-squad contest.

A team captained by Coach Zach
Taylor downed another named after Coach Fred Hofman, 6 to 3,
in sharp contrast to Sunday's 1-0
verdict. Pitcher Bob Muncrief,
who underwent an elbow opera-
tion in January, tried some curves
and reported satisfaction with the
way his arm stood the strain.
