GRADUATION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, JUNE 4
Reverend Samuel Macaulay Lindsay, pastor of the Brookline Baptist Church in Massachusetts, and widely known as a radio preacher will travel over 1200 miles next week to deliver the commencement address to the graduating class of Morehouse College. The exercises will be held on June 4 in Sale Hall Chapel and will bring to a fitting close the commencement season at this leading college for Negro men.
The commencement speaker is a native of Perthshire, Scotland. He has often been referred to in the Boston Transcript as the third of three great Scottish preachers of Boston. Dr. Lindsay enjoys an enviable reputation for his participation in the work of a number of humanitarian organizations.
He accepted the pastorate of the Brookline church two years ago and since his becoming pastor, the church has been successful.
