New Methodist Bishops.

The Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church South recently in Session in New Orleans elected the following Bishops: Rev. William M. Wightman, D. D., of Greensboro' University, Alabama; Rev. E. M. Marvin, of Missouri; Rev. David S. Doggett D. D., of Virginia, one of the editors of the Episcopal Methodist, of Richmond; and Rev. H. N. McTyiere, D. D., of Louisiana, editor of the Nashville Christian Advocate prior to the suspension of that paper upon the occupation of Nashville by the Federal army during the war. They are all said to be able divines.
