LATEST FROM VICKSBURG.

Chickasaw Bayou, June 25.—Port Hudson has not been taken. Gen. Grant was deceived by a false report to that effect. The firing here has been quieter in consequence of the intense heat. We have gained possession of another fort on the left.

Cairo, June 30.—The despatch boat Gen. Lyon has arrived from Yazoo Landing on the morning of the 26th. There had been fighting all day Thursday in the rear of Vicksburg, and at night one of the rebel forts was blown up, causing a terrible concussion.
