The Boys Basketball practice started last Monday night. We will have one more week of practice, after this one, before the Christmas Holidays. Twenty-one boys reported for practice Monday night.
They were: George Cappleman, Frank Springstead, Wallace Long, Eddie McIntyre, Jake Varn, Curry Russell, Billy Brayton, Robert Cox, Hamon Pitts, Raymond Pitts, Robert Webster, Charles Keathley, Jack Emerson, Al Keathley, Donald Emerson, James Griffin, Everett Deems, Pete Rood, Bert Rood, Bobby Lingle, Abe Surasky, Henry Hice, Weston Evans.
Practice started Monday afternoon. All the girls were out that could be. We were all very much interested in how to play two division court. We think that we will like it after we catch on to the plays, etc. We might play the town team Friday night if we have a good practice this week. The girls are all anxious to begin playing games. We are all practicing very hard because we want to win the Conference Cup and we are going to work very hard that is what it is going to take. All the teams are learning to play two division court because it is recommended as being better for girls. The recommendation came from Tallahassee.
