Spring in your gorgeous robes,
Beautiful as you are, I cannot bear
To be so near you.
I loved you once before I understood
How cruel you are,
You gave me light, and joy and love
I reveled in you.
I worked with
you,
sang,
laughed
and loved.
You gave me strength and understanding.
Purity of heart and soul—you went.
Then when you came again I had
been
Wounded deep cut and bruised.
And I was lonely. you took her from
Me you said no word of consolation,
And she was every thing to me,
spring in your gorgeous robes.
Stoop low forget your power, forgive
Me, if I cause you pain.
(Come near enough that I may touch
your garment
Forgiving, loving, trusting each other
infinitely
I live again
