HATTIEBURG NEWS

Dear Editor:

As agent, I wish to report that I have made the following visits and installed officers:

Lodge No. 231, Joe Knox, President. I conducted the election of officers. This meeting was well attended.

I installed the officers of Lodge No. 76, with Mr. Duke Morrell as president. The sermon was preached by the Vice President of the lodge. I visited Lodge No. 457. Brother S. Sherman, president. I installed their officers.

I visited Lodge No. 205 and I wish to state that this was the first time the officers of this lodge have ever been installed. I corrected some errors and left them inspired to carry on. All lodges should have their officers installed. You are not at liberty to serve until this is done, according to law.

I visited lodges No. 213 and 201 in Tuiding. I installed the officers of both lodges. I added one new member in lodge. Brother H. S. Jones is president of both. He seems to have things well in hand.

Brother Jones and his members entertained the people with a splendid program. The members of the First Baptist Church know how to do big things. Too much praise cannot be given President Jones. We need presidents like him.

If you want to do yourself good, visit Brother Jones' lodges 11 in the town of Heidelberg.

A. J. Barnott, Agent.
