A Domestic Scene.

We hear of a domestic difficulty which occurred at Clyde, a few evenings since a difficulty which affords gossip to the villagers to their fill. A man whose name we withhold, suspecting that his wife was unfaithful to her marriage vow, determined to test the question, and, if possible, obtain convincing proof before acting. He announced to his wife that he should be obliged to be absent from home a day or two, and accordingly made preparations in her presence for leaving. He did not go out of the village, but waited until the middle of the night, when, with the aid of a night key, he obtained entrance to his house unobserved and unheard by the inmates. Proceeding to his chamber, he discovered on the floor the garments of a man and the owner of them in bed with his wife. Not liking the aspect of affairs, he stripped the bed clothes from the guilty pair, and then confronted his wife's paramour with a revolver. The usurper trembled under the sight of the weapon, and made a full confession of his sins, imploring forgiveness. Instead of shooting, the husband in not a very gentle manner, kicked the guilty ones from the house, and the first scene of this domestic drama was ended. The other scenes usual in such cases will follow, with slight intermissions, probably. Rochester Union.
