WOOD CAN BE SOLD BY THE CORD ONLY
PHOENIX, Nov. 25.-Issuing a warning to wood and coal dealers, Raymond Dyas, state inspector of weights and measures, declared yesterday that unless the law was complied with in the matter of sales, prosecution would result.
"According to the law of this state wood must be sold by the cord or fraction of the cord and not by the load or rick," said Mr. Dyas. "The wood must be accompanied by a delivery ticket showing the exact quantity purchased.
The same rule applies to coal which must be sold by weight only."
