Third Round of Polio Vaccine Now Due

Recent surveys have disclosed alarming shortcomings in the immunization against various diseases throughout the county.

The Lake County Medical Society's Public Health Committee is planning an intensified effort to correct the situation.

A series of three inoculations is advised against polio, beginning at the age of one year. The second shot is given two to six weeks after the first and the third shot, or booster, is given six to ten months after the second one.

Much work has been done to make immunization against the dreadful disease of polio safe. Careful checks are made to reach this end.

Mothers and dads this is your responsibility.

There is now an adequate supply of Polio Vaccine available from your family physician.

Protect your family, before polio strikes again.
