Full Text

A Jew Boat.

The Yankees have adopted India rubber cloth to the construction of boats. They make two bags, air tight, shaping them like the floats of Burden's steam boat, and when they wish to go upon the water, they blow the bags full, lay some boards across them, and are fitted out for a fishing voyage. The experiment has been tried, and it works admirably.

If some unskilful body in the voyage, like the seamen we read of in the old books, should happen to let the wind out of the bags, there would be a terrible blow up.
