Full Text

NEW-YORK, OCT. 11.

We are happy in hearing of the progress made in building of New-Jersey college. Mr. La Trobe, the architect, is now at Princeton, superintending the construction of the roof of this edifice—the building it seems, is to be covered with sheet iron, which it is supposed, will prove at once a safe and durable roof. At the next term a large addition will be made to the number of the students. The discipline of the college will in future be more strict, and a more exact and rigid attention than ever, will be paid to the moral and religious principles of the youth who may be sent to this institution for their education.
