An insular committee which recently studied problems affecting veterans in the Virgin Islands has recommended the establishment of offices of Veterans Representative in both St Thomas and St. Croix on a full-time basis.
The present services rendered by the Veterans Administration of Puerto Rico was said to be inadequate to meet the need of an ever increasing veteran population. The committee said that veterans were dissatisfied with the infrequency and quality of this service.
