on the side of the allies, the greatest loss fell upon the hessians. yesterday the french were employed a good part of the day in burying their dead. nine pieces of cannon were brought in here which were taken in the battle of the 13th.

The Saxons greatly distinguished themselves in the Action of the 13th, between the French and the Allies. The Consequence of this Action will shew how far it has been decisive. All that we can say of it at present is, that the Baggage of the French, which on the Evening of the Action were Sent to Hosheim and Hocheim, two Villages, one of them about half a League from this Place, advanced Yesterday as far as Hochst, where it was to wait for fresh Orders. Yesterday Evening the French made Rejoicings on the Field of Battle.
