Milwaukee Alderman Asks for a Copy of the Famous Chicago Measure.
MILWAUKEE, Wis., Jan. 24.-Ald. Cornelius Corcoran, the bachelor representative of the Third ward, has determined to emulate the example of Ald. Plotke, of Chicago. He has written to the Chicago councilman for a copy of his famous ordinance forbidding the wearing of high hats in theaters, and will prepare a measure on its lines and introduce it at the next meeting of the Milwaukee common council. The majority of Milwaukee women remove their bonnets when they go to the play.
