Library News
Recently we were most provoked at the West Jefferson Public Library because we could not find a needed reference. We had a request for a recipe for making pickles!
Now we have some really intriguing books containing recipes, but not a single one told how to make pickles.
So we have a new cookbook "The American Everyday Cookbook" and it seems to cover about everything. There are 2000 recipes and menus, advice on pressure cooking, outdoor cooking, home freezing, cooking time tables, a calorie chart.
Nothing in the cooking field seems to have been overlooked... and we hope nothing has been!
If we educate enough of our individuals in the fundamentals of peace and security, frictions and irritations between countries will rapidly disappear.
