Winter Fashions

We Believe:

That the winter fashion of Harlem High are tweeds that are seen and believed in-plaid sport dresses and corduroy skirts-jumpers and blouses are a great hit-clothes will be plain and distinguished, accessories hog wild-hair brushed and shining shoes polished-that school girl will be arrogant in her bearing-daring in her choice in color-sure of herself because she knows she is good.

We Like:

The reckless bravery in color! Those talking socks and screaming sweaters- bright corduroy and woolen skirts. We like highlights everywhere even in the hair-topnotes pompadours, hair that blows in the breeze, hair that doesn't matter.

We Find:

A new interest in coats-Polo's are a big hit also tweeds with trim velvet collars.

We Second:

The new longer jackets, big purposeful pockets on everything, long cable stitched socks, rubber puss-in-boots, moccasins, skullcaps, little fitted hats that set behind pompadours, to keep down the fly away curls.

We Know:

That if everyone chooses her wardrobe with care she will have a costume for every occasion.
