Gus Richardson Says He Has No
Kick Coming
Gus Richardson, in an interview with
a News reporter, the other day, said he
had no kick coming against the arrange-
ments by which he was granted the
second deputyship of the Appellate
court.
"I believe that Mr. Shackford did all
in his power." said he, "to redeem his
promise and he was only prevented from
carrying them out by the Judges. I am
perfectly satisfied with the new arrange-
ment. I knew nothing at all of the ar-
rangements by which the salaries of the
deputies were pooled. I will take up the
duties of my position September 1. I
am making arrangements to move my
family to Frankfort and expect to have
them with me this winter."
