GO TO TRIAL

NEW YORK-(ANP)-Saint Thomas, Father Divine's follower who turned prize fighter, arrested last winter for the fatal stabbing of a chef, is expected to go to trial for his life at an early date.

Thomas, 30, will be represented by Bertram Adams and Harry Mogel who will plead self defense for their client.

Thomas is alleged to have stabbed Eddie Frank on the night of Feb. 7 following a quarrel.

Thomas told police at the time that Frank has been "carrying tales" about him to his landlady in an attempt to have him put out.
