The declaration of the American Federation of Labor that it would enter politics to secure recognition for labor and laws for the relief and protection of the working class has resulted in the issuance of a circular to all affiliated unions instructing them to take an active interest in politics. Several of the international unions have already instructed their membership along the lines outlined by the federation, some of the Spokane unions having received circular letters of this nature lately.
