AMSTERDAM, May 18. By advices from Barcelona, of the 8th of last month, we learn that all the ships that enter that port are taken up on the King's account, by his order, and are to be employed to carry troops, provisions, and military stores; and that upwards of 150 vessels have already taken in their cargoes. They add, that an embargo is laid on all the shipping at Alicante, Malaga, Carthagena, Ferrol, and Cadiz.

Certain advices from Toulon say, that four ships of the line, completely manned, have just sailed from thence for the West Indies.

LEGHORN, May 2. All accounts from Spain are filled with the enormous warlike preparations which are carried on, with the greatest rapidity, in that country. They write from Madrid, that orders were given to press 14,000 men, and that half of the King's household troops had received orders to be in readiness to march. A letter from Marseilles, in confirmation of the above, adds, that 12,000 of the French subsidy troops had received orders to embark there for Spain; for which purpose 14 tartans were ready in their ports, and from Barcelona we learn, that magazines are filling up there for the use of a very numerous army.
