BIDS FOR FERRY TERMINAL
DOCKS TO BE OPENED MAR. 15

JUNEAU (AP) — Public Works Commissioner Richard A. Downing said today bids will be opened March 15 for construction of dock structures for ferry terminals at Skagway, Haines, Juneau, Sitka, Petersburg and Wrangell.

The only southeastern dock not included is the Ketchikan dock.

Downing said bids on that structure have been delayed pending approval of a site.

Downing said a final decision will not be made until the completion of investigations now under way on several sites.
