RACINE, Wis., July 21. - Mrs. S. H. Wheaton, a young married lady of this city, about 23 years old, with her little 5-year-old daughter, left her home unknown to her husband, who found a letter on a table addressed to him. He discovered it to be a note from his wife, which stated that the man who aided in her escape was unknown to him, and it was best that they should part. Before Mr. Wheaton came to this city he and his family had resided at Janesville. No reason can be assigned for the wife's unfaithfulness, as their domestic relations were always supposed to be all that could be desired.
