"Frontier Town" was visited recently by the editor and his wife as they returned recently from a visit with friends and relatives in Butte, Helena, Sheridan, Laurin and Virginia City.

Mr. and Mrs. John Quigley (Jack and Sue) were gracious hosts and made the occasion delightful. Another pleasing feature was a surprise meeting with Mr. Leo Seery, a former St. Ignatius man who is employed at this notable resort atop the Continental Divide, 15 miles west of Helena.

A stop at Frontier Town is worth any traveler's time. It has been written up in several nationally known newspapers and magazines.

One of the things that is practically certain to impress any visitor, when he or she has heard some of the facts, is the courage, ingenuity and industry that it took on the part of Jack Quigley to build a place like this in such an unusual and picturesque location. But he comes from a line of Montana pioneers and he has the spirit of the pioneer and frontiersman in his blood.

This brief mention is not to tell all: rather just to pass out a few hints. But let this one thing be particularly noted: There is a freshness in the mountain air and a freedom from heat and dust that is truly exhilarating. The like of this is far from being common at taverns and resorts along the travelways of the Nation.

Mr. and Mrs. Quigley kindly posed with the editor and his wife for this picture. Everything was fine and dandy except when Jack and Leo made off with the scribe and tossed him into the frontier "hoosegow." Of course, Gene's prolific camera caught the action.
