ABERDEEN HAS YOUNG TELEGRAPH OPERATOR

Aberdeen, S. D., July 14.—In the person of William Ayres, who came to Aberdeen this week to take the position of operator in the Milwaukee yard office, Aberdeen now possesses one of the youngest professional telegraph operators in the world. Young Ayres is but 14 years of age, but he has been holding down a man's job as Western Union telegraph operator at Redfield, S. D., for some time before coming to Aberdeen to take the yard office trick for the Milwaukee.
