THE WAR.

From the best information we can collect, the following is the force that composes the North Western Army under Gen. Harrison:

From Kentucky--Col. Allen's Regiment 650--Scott's do. 600--Lewis's do. 650--Poague's do. 640--Barbee's do. 640--Jenning's do. 600--Mounted volunteers for a short period 500--Regulars under Col. Wells 400--Col. Simral's regiment of horse 300--Capt. Garrard's troop of horse 80.--Total 5060.

From Ohio--Col. Sutton's regiment at Urbana 900--Col. Adams do. on their march to Fort Wayne 600--Mounted volunteers for 30 days' service, not known, supposed 1000--Captain Langham's company of regulars 100--Lieut. Gwynne's regulars 28.--Total 2628.

In addition to the above the Governor of Pennsylvania has received from the Secretary at War a requisition for 2000 men, who are to rendezvous at Pittsburg on the 2d of October, and from thence join Gen. Harrison.

The Governor of Virginia has also called out 1500 men who are to rendezvous at Point Pleasant nearly opposite Gallipolis, and from thence join the army on our frontier. Every exertion is making in Virginia for the immediate equipment of the men. It is probable they will pass through this place in a short time.--Supporter.

Gov. Shelby of Kentucky, in consequence of the representations of Gen. Harrison, has issued an address calling for mounted volunteers. They were to rendezvous at Louisville on the 11th inst. and will march immediately to Vincennes, where they will be joined by Col. Wilcox's regiment of 588 men, and Col. Miller's regiment of 700 men. The whole force, when collected, will amount to about 3000, and will be under the command of Gen. Hopkins, who, it is expected, will march against the Wabash Indians, and thence co-operate with Gen. Harrison.

That venerable revolutionary patriot General Samuel Finley, left Chillicothe on the 7th inst. for the purpose of joining Gen. Harrison in his contemplated expedition, accompanied by 150 mounted riflemen and musketeers:=ib.
