VERA CRUZ AND JALAPA HOSPITALS.

The Philadelphia Evening Bulletin has received a letter from an officer in the army who has but recently arrived at New Orleans from Vera Cruz. He gives a gloomy picture of the state of the hospitals at Vera Cruz and Jalapa. He states that on the morning he left Vera Cruz, (June 1st,) there were buried from the hospitals of that city 48 men; and of 500 sick in those hospitals, he did not believe 20 would come out alive. At Jalapa there were about 900 in the hospital.
