Mayson-Turner and West Hunter is the site of Atlanta's newest drug store, which opened for business Friday. It is a Jacob's store and is No. 20 in the chain which was established in 1879.
Five colored are employed at the newest Jacobs store. They include a head and an assistant soda jerker, two delivery boys and a porter. Dr. I. Dent, white, is pharmacist and manager. The present staff includes six employees.
Complete soda equipment has been installed and the same low prices now prevailing at other Jacobs stores will be charged at No. 20, according to the management.
Delivery service will be available for any part of the section.
Sinclair Jacobs, executive of the company, stated the desire of the organization is to serve everybody at all times and pointed out the complete stock and modern and comfortable fixtures as evidence of the new store being on par with all other drug stores by his company.
