NEW YORK (P)—The American Heart Association has announced the distribution of $361,522 grants-in-aid for 72 research projects in heart and blood diseases.
Included in the latest grants are:
North Carolina:
University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Chapel Hill, research under C. Bruce Taylor, $9,450.
Duke University School of Medicine, Durham, under James V. Warren, $5,250.
Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, under Jerry Aikawa, $3,150; under Harold D. Green, $4,830; and under C. Glenn Sawyer, $2,625.
