An automatic electrical wrist watch from Schauer's Jewelry which is now celebrating its 17th anniversary, was awarded to Miss Alma Hollis, 527 King street. A chain ring which she informed could be exchanged for one of her own size, was presented to Mrs. Lucy Davis, 86 Hogue street S. E. as a gift from the Hull clothing company. And the elderly matron was quite happy.
The last of the splendid meals and desserts cooked by Mrs. I. P. Lewis, cooking expert from the Georgia power company, who was in charge of the school and Miss Virginia Starr, Kelvinator representative, whose specialty is refrigerator dishes, was distributed as follows: pork roast and green beans, Mrs. N. E. Miss sos Simpson street; orange dessert, Mrs. W. A. Warner, 1690 Coleman street; cherry tart, Miss W. M. Poole, 991 Ashby Circle; Lucy Hunt, 519 Mountain street; F. Peters, 169 A. street; while a specially prepared chicken dinner was served to the World employees on duty at the cooking school.
A great big 10 pound box of Calumet Baking Powder was the award of Mrs. M. Justice, 293 Fort street.
Included in the list of two hundred receiving baskets of food containing among other articles National biscuits, Swift's Lighhouse cleanser, Nucoa, Best Foods Mayonnaise and other Bestfoods products, Jell-O, Swift's Jewel Shortening, Kellogg's cereals, Clapp's baby food, Gerber's milk pep :lim., Lily Flour, Arrow hand soap, A. C. Baking Powder, Phillips tomato soup and Phillips baked beans, Borden's spinach and many other items, all of which can be secured at Rout's Variety stores are: Mrs. A.
